Hwange National Park Tours
HISTORY-HWANGE NATIONAL PARK-this is the only park in which Gemsbok and brown Hyena,
occur within Zimbabwe. Nine of the ten protected mammals of Zimbabwe occur in the Hwange
national park. The pangolin, wild dog, white rhino, brown hyene, aardwolf, cheetah,roam
and gemsbok.Robins camp- game veiwing tips- look out fro the lion and roan in the grass areas. Huge
herds of buffalo are often seen and Kori bustard, specially protected is quite a common in the
Robins area.
HWANGE NATIONAL PARK FULL DAY GAME DRIVE
Depart 6 am from the hotel and return at 6:30pm. This park is Zimbabwe's premier game reserve
and by far it's the largest . The park is about 14,260 square km in the north east corner of Zimbabweand is the size of east
Angola. The park supports about 300 Giraffe, 2000 Sables, 15000 Buffalo,
6000 Impala, 5000 Kudu, 3000 Zebras, 22000 Elephants, 413 Bird species, 90 varieties of animals
and up to 1000 species of tree and shrubs of which over 250 have been identified and recovered.As this is a full day activity, our rates include packed breakfast and lunch.
HWANGE OVERNIGHT AND MULTI DAY SAFARIS
DAY 1
06:30hrs : Depart Victoria Falls- inclusive packed breakfast
08:30hrs : Arrive Robins Camp- small remote camp close to the northwestern boundary of the park.
09:00hrs : Game drive into Hwange National park, includes soft drinks
13-1400hrs: Picnic lunch at Detema picnic site.
1800hrs Back Robins Camp for overnight stay, includes dinner and excludes drinks at the
Restaurant.
DAY 2
0600hrs: A choice of game drive or walking safari with an armed game scout.
1000hrs :Arrive at the camp for brunch
1800 hrs :Arrive at Deka Camp or Nanwitch Lodges for an overnight stay.
DAY 3
0600hrs: Early morning game drive, includes packed breakfast plus lunch
13-1400hrs: Picnic lunch at Shumba site includes drinks.
1800hrs :Arrive at the Sinamathela camp for an overnight stay. The camp is set upon a hill
overlooking a large grassland area which lies adjucent to a small river. One can sit at the restaurant
or on the veranda of your lodge and watch the game in comfortt.
DAY 4
0600HRS: Early morning game drive includes soft drinks.
1000hrs :Arrive back at the camp for branch
1430hrs Options fro game drive or walking safari with an armed scout.
1800hrs: Arrive at Bumbuzi camp for an overnight stay, includes dinner and excludes drinks
at the restaurant.
DAY 5
0600hrs :Early morning game drive into Hwange national park, include packed breakfast
and drimks.
1230hrs: Arrive back in Victoria Falls
